and data science.What You'll Do
- Develop and apply advanced statistical models that help clients
understand dynamic business issues
- Leverage analytic techniques to use data to guide client and ZS
team decision-making
- Design custom analyses and ensure methodologies align with
project needs
- Leverage R, SQL, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic, and Excel to
investigate and inform client needs
- Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams
through oral and written presentations
- Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact
on aspects of projects
- Provide client and ZS teams project status updates
- Create project deliverables and implement solutions
- Conduct end-to-end quality checks and ensure consistency across
analyses
- Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZS's
capabilities
- Guide and mentor Associates on teamsWhat You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree required in any discipline with
strong record of academic success in quantitative and analytic
coursework such as operations research, applied mathematics,
management science, data science, statistics, econometrics, or
engineering.
- 2-4 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience with
domain knowledge/expertise in Healthcare/Life Sciences/MedTech is
preferred. A PhD may substitute in lieu of work experience.
- Proficiency with MS Excel modeling and analyzing and developing
insights from large datasets, leveraging relevant tools and
programming languages such as SQL, Python, SAS, VBA, etc.
- Working knowledge of basic statistics including first order
descriptive statistics, types of distributions, hypothesis testing,
statistical significance, probability distributions, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with
both technical and non-technical teams
- Knowledge of diverse data sources, including but not limited to
retail and non-retail sales data, patient level claims data, EMR
data, etc.
- Experience with different retrospective RWD (Real World Data)
databases such as IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, or Optum is
preferred
- Experience of bio-statistical techniques such as Survival
analysis, Matching techniques such as Propensity score Matching and
Case Control, Linear and Logistic regression
- Fundamental understanding of standard predictive and classical
models: when to use and how to interpret results
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal
initiative

- Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks
