I am currently partnered with a renowned construction company that
has been in the Construction Industry since its founding 30+ years
ago. Their office is based out of Brookline, MA and they work on a
diverse pipeline of projects throughout the Greater Boston area,
specifically in Boston, Brookline, and along the 495 belt. This
company is ran by two former executives of one of the top and one
of the largest GCs in the Boston area, so it is perfect for an
individual looking for a smaller company with the resources and
stability of a large GC. They put a large focus on developing and
promoting talent from within the business and are looking for an
individual with 3-5 years of scheduling experience.
Job Description
The Construction Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies, programs,
and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure
compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective
actions.
- Lead and facilitate safety meetings, training sessions, and
safety drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine
root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA, state, and local safety
regulations.
- Prepare and submit safety reports, documentation, and records
as required by regulatory agencies and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and workers to
promote a culture of safety.
- Manage safety equipment and ensure it is available, properly
maintained, and used correctly.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their compliance with
safety requirements.
- Stay informed about new developments in construction safety and

The Successful Applicant
The Construction Safety Manager will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety,
Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety
management.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification
preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant
safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop practical
solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management
software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job
