SOE uses a structured, disciplined, best practices-based approach to further this work, while maintaining a flexibility that allows us to accommodate the evolving needs of our projects and the shifting demands of the Institute.Reporting to the Sr. Performance Improvement Manager, the Performance Improvement Analyst assists in the implementation, monitoring, and tracking of ongoing multidisciplinary performance improvement efforts. Assists in the analysis of data and develops a range of reports to facilitate assessment of improvement efforts.Responsibilities


  • Refresh and improve existing volume and productivity reports and analyses.
  • Populate and maintain project-specific benefit tracker.
  • Produce regular reports of analyzed performance improvement data.
  • Present analytic work product to appropriate internal audiences and end users.
  • Manage pieces of larger projects or manage multiple smaller projects at a time.
  • Support data needs of the Performance Improvement and SOE teams.

    • Basic knowledge of the healthcare industry and its key financial drivers.
    • Basic knowledge of the process/performance improvement process & tools of DFCI.
    • Demonstrates strong presentation skills.
    • Demonstrates sound interpersonal skills.
    • Skilled at working collaboratively with others within the department.
    • Ability to be detail-oriented.
    • Ability to understand the question that stakeholders want answered.
    • Ability to effectively present assumptions/findings of analyses.
    • Intermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
    • Ability to quickly learn to use new software tools.
    • Ability to present data in a clear manner with charts and other visualizations.
    • Ability to engage in peer development conversations.
