Caring People is a privately held licensed healthcare agency that has been in business for over 20 years with offices throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts and Texas. We are a service based company that provides peace of mind to the geriatric community through caregiving.The Home Healthcare Consultant-Business Development will report to the Regional Director of Business Development and is responsible for building the Caring People brand across the South Boston community. These relationships will lead to referral opportunities within local healthcare systems and community based organizations serving the geriatric community. This is an OUTSIDE sales position. Responsibilities Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs Arrange business meetings with prospective clients/accounts Promote the company's services addressing or predicting clients' objectives Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients/accounts Skills Proven working experience in business development, sales or a relevant role Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales position for either a healthcare company or home healthcare agency Proven sales track record Experience in customer support is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Proficiency in English Market knowledge Communication and negotiation skills Ability to build rapport Must have a positive attitude, a high level of self-motivation and be results driven Time management and planning skills BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
