IN A NUTSHELL---The Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory management of medicated and non-medicated items in the dispensary. This includes the daily maintenance of menu decisions, product storage, intake, and continuous live tracking within the Seed to Sale System and METRC. Inventory Specialists play a critical role in ensuring that all monitoring of inventory is compliant with all RMD regulations.The Inventory Specialist may report directly to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Assistant Operations Managers. Supports the store's financial and KPI goals. Consistently follows the established operational processes.This role is with NETA, one of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state marijuana regulations
  • Work in close coordination with the Inventory Management and dispensary ops teams
  • Provide product expertise and knowledge to PSAs and explain the potential benefits of various type products and strains of medical marijuana, as well as methods of use
  • Responsible for accepting, tracking and processing all returns that occur at the point of sale
  • Responsible for performing any quality control checks as directed by the Inventory Director, Supervisor, Coordinator, or Dispensary Manager
  • Perform daily reconciliation process for all point of sale items
  • Assist in initial Loss Prevention processes
  • Accurately perform inventory management, including processing product deliveries and restocking sales stations
  • Utilize the point of sale record keeping system/METRC to receive, track and adjust inventory
  • Assist in menu production and inventory changes
  • Maintain organized and consistent stocking and packaging systems for both existing and new products
  • Use and maintain all inventory tracking systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment that ensures the compliant storage of all items in an operational manner
  • Communicate information to dispensary operation teams regarding inventory locations and any changes throughout the day
  • Maintain all PSA updates regarding inventory systems
  • Participate in Peer Training Initiatives as well as assist in the training of newly on-boarded staff
  • Model exceptional Inventory Specialist standards in the Vault and on the sales floor
  • Assist and complete the annual inventory as directed by RMD regulations
    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU'LL BRINGRequired
    • Age 21 or over
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
    • Preferred
    • At least 3 months working as a NETA Guide (Patient Service Associate)
    • Superior communication skills
    • Must be highly organized and have extreme attention to detail while multitasking
    • Detailed knowledge of the Seed to Sale System, Virtual Gateway software, and NETA operating procedures
    • General knowledge of Google Documents and Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a timely and professional manner
    • Must have full time open availability; every weekend availability
    • Solution-Oriented
      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, counting, calculating and computer processing operations.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
      • Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
      • Kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching for things on shelving with assisted ladders throughout the duration of the shift
      • Ability to carry packages up and down the stairs throughout the shift
