Job Description:

Enhance your career in the growing healthcare industry by joining our team as a Patient Account Liaison, where you will represent our organization at our hospital client site in order to address patient, third party payor, and HBCS employee inquiries for account balance, insurance information, and claim status. **HBCS offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days on-site and two (2) remote workdays from your home Responsibilities: Process patient and insurance correspondence Handle requests for billing-related documents and EOBs Audit hospital accounts and investigate dispute charges. Qualifications: 1 to 2 years of experience in patient accounts receivable, healthcare business office, and/or insurance claims processing Working knowledge of healthcare claims processing including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC codes, as well as UB-04 and 1500 claims Basic understanding of medical billing and claims processes including medical terminology, managed care and government sponsored insurance plans, and payor contract reviews Excellent verbal and written skills with an emphasis on customer service Ability to analyze and resolve problems, and identify payor reimbursement discrepancies.
