Job Description:
SUMMARY OF JOB: The person in this position will be an integral
part of the ongoing success and development of our Consulting &
Events department. FSM's Consulting & Events team works with an
elite roster of client, teams, and brands to create meaningful
events and activations. In this role, the Senior Coordinator,
Consulting & Events will be an integral part of the ongoing success
and development of our events & activations division. This
candidate will work with multiple clients and be required to
multi-task across numerous projects. We are looking for a
detail-oriented person that can manage multiple projects
simultaneously, keep up with our fast-paced culture and assist with
the day-to-day operations of all major business lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Event & Brand Activation Planning & Execution
(85%): Assist in the ideation, coordination and execution of
several marquee client events throughout the calendar year Work
closely with clients and co-workers to plan all details leading up
to all events, including but not limited to customizing sponsorship
packages, guest itinerary distribution, venue selection &
negotiation, d--cor, catering, entertainment, transportation,
operations, logistics, gifting, and overall event run of show and
flow Assist in ordering all supplies needed throughout the year for
all events and activations while keeping a detailed inventory for
entire department Maintain and nurture client relationships
throughout the entire year with our clients, vendors and internal
contact and set short-term and long-term client goals and work on
behalf of your client to help achieve these goals Participate in
brainstorming meetings to provide creative recommendations for new
events, raise the bar for annual events, sponsorship activation,
and client promotions, with a priority of delivering on client
short-term and long-term marketing objectives Support FSM Special
Events team with large ballpark wide events, including but not
limited to TopGolf and Frozen Fenway Support the execution of all
Fenway Bowl events throughout the year, and help with the execution
of all Bowl Week activations, team hospitality at hotels, traveling
party outings, and on-site coordination of Bowl Game needs. Produce
presentation materials including event scenario options,
sponsorship activation plans, gifting proposals, venue research,
and event recaps Assist in keeping our vendor database up to date
ensuring we have the most up to date contact information for all
the vendors used throughout the department for our events and
activations Other Activities (15%): Provide hospitality
support/client entertainment during Red Sox games at Fenway
throughout the season as needed Work cooperatively with other FSM
Consulting & Events staff helping to achieve overall company and
client goals Assist with Consulting & Events larger initiatives
Participate in team brainstorms Perform other duties as assigned
CHARACTERISTICS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required 2-3
years of experience in the events, specifically sports Acute
attention to detail, high level of organization and ability to
efficiently multi-task across broad client list Self-driven
individual with a clear focus on high-quality work and client
service Able to operate effectively in a team setting and build
strong relationships with co-workers High level of maturity and
confidence when dealing with FSG executives and senior-level
executives at client companies Excellent face-to-face, telephone
and e-mail communication Proficient with use of Microsoft Office,
particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Able to work extended
hours, including nights and weekends and travel, as job requires
The Red Sox (or FSM) requires proof of being up-to-date on COVID-19
