Licensed Audiologist What's In It For You: - - Easily accessible -by the MBTA - - Fully furnished work environment -with free on-site parking available - - Bring your expertise to the staff -and help the community - - Work closely with a growing team -of professionals - - Strong opportunity for career advancement About the Opportunity: - - Our client is a fully accredited teaching facility that provides acute, sub-acute, and ambulatory care to patients referred by public agencies and private sector providers. - - This well-equipped healthcare facility is -looking for an -Licensed Audiologist. - - Your role is to perform Audiometric evaluations of hearing to determine the type and degree of hearing loss, assessment of hearing handicaps, and fitting and programming of amplification devices. Licensed Audiologist - Responsibilities: - - Conducting Hearing Aid fittings, prescription, and fitting of amplification for hearing loss without medical intervention - - Ensuring proper calibration of diagnostic equipment according to national and professional association standards - - Performing hearing evaluations of patients by conducting audiometric evaluations of hearing sensitivity as well as the ability to discriminate speech - - Recording clinical results of findings in the Enterprise Medical Records Licensed Audiologist - Qualifications: - - Must possess an active -Massachusetts Audiology -license and CPR Certification - - 1 year of experience in providing audiology services in a recognized public or private agency or organization. - - Understanding of the social, psychological, and educational problems of the persons with hearing impairments and/or physical disabilities - - Knowledge of the therapy, principles, terminology, and practices of Audiology There are no costs for candidates utilizing our services as our clients pay for all related hiring fees.
