The position's primary focus will conduct a variety of technical exercises to assist The Studio in the creation of 2D and 3D design documents to support the leasing and development needs for all of WS Development. This is an exciting opportunity to work in-house for one of the largest mixed-use developers in the country in our unique Studio, the internal team of architects and designers who provide planning and design solutions to our Leasing, Development and Construction teams. Requirements
The ideal candidate is technically well rounded for architectural drafting on a variety of tasks requiring excellent proficiency in computer drafting and design software, exemplary attention to detail and an understanding of architecture. As the technical production resource of the department, you will support all members of The Studio, requiring a collaborative and communicative nature. Consistency, efficiency and timeliness are critical to the success of the candidate and our team to meet fast paced deadlines impacting all facets of our business. Stellar time management is required to manage a multitude of different tasks. The candidate is flexible and proactive to prioritize short term and long term demands with all the team members.

The Draftsperson will be responsible for the following range of technical assignments:
AutoCAD Drafting
Site layout, modifications or studies
Lease Outline Drawings for individual retail tenant premises
Exhibits for tenant leases illustrating site restrictions, easements, rights and other site planning or tenant fit out design considerations
Development site planning support for internal studies
Square footage inventory, calculation and tracking of individual centers across the portfolio
Any miscellaneous CAD work to support The Studio, Leasing, Development or Construction
Massing studies
Site models
Sketch Up
Photoshop
Composite elevations for property painting color studies
Elevation studies for architectural modifications, including storefronts, signage, materiality
InDesign & Illustrator
Property wide merchandising plans to inventory premises square footage and track tenants
Internal presentation creation support

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellence in design software including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketchup
Exemplary work style including organization, time management, resourcefulness, flexibility, communication and collaboration with proven success at teamwork and working independently
Degree in Architecture or similar
2-5 years of previous related professional experience required
