As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.



Your Role and Responsibilities

Job Duties: Become versed in the IBM security policies and practices, terms, agreements, and appliable compliance types.

Continually develop capabilities to lead sellers through the process of responding to client security assessments and provide applicable information, links, and contacts.

Create materials to support responding to Clients and Vendors in an accurate and consistent way, working with appropriate control area, business, and legal teams.

Create and manage a program playbook to document scenarios, processes, and contacts

Work with our sales teams and procurement to secure high-value contracts with our largest Clients and most important Vendors.



About the Team

The Deal Hub team is an incredibly diverse team of professionals who work together to ensure the success of our most important Client and Vendor engagements. From questionnaires to contracts we handle all of the most complex questions around cybersecurity and privacy.







Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy or cybersecurity risk assessments

Demonstrated experience in negotiating contract language

Exposure to sales organizations

Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.

2+ years of experience in leading discussions around cybersecurity with both technical and non-technical people







Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

ISO, SOC, and other compliance program experience

Ability to recognize nuance and subtlety in language and use it to your advantage

Experience negotiating complex deals and contracts from both the Client and the Supplier side.

Thorough understanding of IBM contract models and how they operate.
