Job Description:
Worked in primary care with phone triage or worked in an ER with
face to face ER experience or worked in med surg. This position is
working within primary care and family medicine. Most of the
patients are 18 years and older. Depending on the experience the RN
would be able to help with vaccines, IV and medicine
administration. The RN would primarily be doing telephonic work and
talking with patients. They will follow up with patients with
abnormal results and teach/educating patients. They will also be
giving medical advice for the best POC and next steps. Results
management will follow up and education on the test results. They
will be handling about 20-30 calls per hour divided up by 6RN and
each call is about 15-20 minutes long. In EPIC they have triage
protocols that will help them with the triaging calls. Hours M-F
9-5, or 10 hour shifts.
