At Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, we are seeking an experienced Class A OTR (Over-the-Road) Owner Operator who shares our vision of safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. The chosen candidate will be tasked with operating Class A vehicles across various long-distance routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of hazardous waste while complying with all federal and state regulations. This role requires strong independent operational skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. Safely operate Class A vehicles along specified over-the-road routes. Manage and transport hazardous materials in line with all federal, state, and local regulations and company guidelines. Conduct vehicle maintenance checks, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working order and reporting any issues to maintenance staff. Prepare detailed transport documentation and maintain accurate records of all cargo and transactions. Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery. Provide exceptional customer service, upholding the reputation of Clean Harbors and adhering to our values of environmental safety. Strong proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles. In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling. Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills. Excellent navigation ability and familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs). Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Current DOT physical examination card Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HazMat Endorsement)
