lists. Overview The biologics research group at Insmed develops and
applies cutting-edge AI-driven protein engineering methods to
design next-generation biotherapeutics. The candidate will be a
core member of the computational team and will collaborate closely
with multidisciplinary experimental teams in biologics discovery.
In particular, the role focuses on data analysis, visualization,
and statistical modeling of data collected as part of our diverse
biotherapeutic development campaigns. The candidate will have the
opportunity to build and use tools to derive information from these
rich datasets and thereby help guide design and engineering of
life-altering innovative biotherapeutic agents. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities center on deploying, applying, evaluating, and
improving tools to manage, analyze, interpret, and visualize data
regarding our biotherapeutic development campaigns, in close
collaboration with associated experimental teams. This will
initially focus on primary data from the collaborating groups, but
will expand to include curation and targeted analysis of public
data relevant to our biotherapeutics. Mastery of software
development in Python is essential, as is the use of relevant
analytical, statistical, scientific, and visualization packages.
Practical experience with computational and statistical methods for
analysis of both small and large scale data is required. Management
and analysis of data within cloud-based platforms, including use of
and integration with databases, is beneficial. Additional
beneficial proficiencies include creation of end-user available
tools and web portals and the use of REST APIs to access public
datasets. Practical experience in machine learning or image
processing and analysis is beneficial. An MS, or a BS with 1-2
years of experience, in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics,
Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline This position can
be remote or hybrid in our research labs in NJ or NH. Salary Range
$89,000 - $119,267 a year Compensation & Benefits At Insmed, we're
