Job Description Job Description White Elephant Resorts is hiring a reliable, hands-on Housing Assistant to support our employee housing and laundry operations year-round on Nantucket. This role is key to maintaining safe, clean, and well-maintained housing for our team. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain housing facilities and respond to work orders and emergencies • Perform basic maintenance (lighting, plumbing fixes, locks, furniture moves) • Assist with room moves and employee arrivals • Support laundry operations, including driving the laundry truck • Conduct housing inspections and uphold standards Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record • Basic building maintenance experience • Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and work indoors/outdoors • Strong communication and problem-solving skills Applicants should also work well under pressure, be flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
