Job Description:
Position Overview: The Boston Red Sox is seeking a hard-working
dishwasher porter to work inside the clubhouse each home game day
for the kitchen cooking meals for the Red Sox players and staff.
The dishwasher porter cleans and maintains all service-ware,
cookware, kitchen equipment alongside the actual physical space of
the kitchen itself. Possess a working understanding of all
equipment and cleaning supplies. RESPONSIBILITIES: Wash and clean
service ware, cookware and cooking equipment. Keep the dish station
and equipment clean and organized. Responsible to load, run and
unload dish machine. Keep the dish machine clean and report any
functional or mechanical problems immediately. Show an
understanding and commitment to the guidelines set by the
Department of Health. Maintain the organization of the service ware
and cookware in their proper storage place. Bag and remove trash;
including garbage, glass and cardboard to the dumpster at
designated times while adhering to the necessary procedures for the
building in relation to the restaurant. All other duties as
assigned. CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS Represent the Boston Red
Sox professionally. Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge,
working towards achieving personal fulfillment and team success.
The Red Sox (or FSM) requires proof of being up-to-date on COVID-19
