Job Description Job Description Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, based in Newport, NH. This contract role will span from August 2026 through June 2027, working Monday through Friday with a schedule ranging between 32 to 37.5 hours per week. The position supports students within a school setting, delivering occupational therapy services to enhance their functional abilities and participation in educational activities. Key Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and update individualized education programs (IEPs) Monitor progress and document student performance and response to therapy Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and evaluation of therapy goals Maintain compliance with school policies and relevant occupational therapy regulations Qualifications and Experience: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and families Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices Location: Newport, New Hampshire, within a school environment This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational and developmental outcomes of students.
