Job Description Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Nursing Supervisor 36hrs Days/Eves/Nights Rotate and EOW MUST BE ABLE TO READ TELE STRIPS AND PERFORM CARDIAC DRIPS Shift: 36hrs Days/Eves/Nights Rotate, EOW & EOH The Nursing Supervisor provides administrative, operational, and clinical responsibilities for all services in the facility on days, evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays. They Serve as the clinical resource person on patient care and services; acts as the patient care representative; collaborates with medical staff, ancillary support, and clinical services in order to ensure optimal patient care services and environmental conditions at all times.Experience Required: 3 years of advanced Med/Surg Tele experience. Preferred critical care nursing experience.EMR (Charting system): EPIC.Supervise patient care through verification of established nursing practices and patient care standards. Provides direction and guidance to facilitate the nursing process.Job Responsibilities: Ensures appropriate intervention is demonstrated in all situations (e.g. deterioration of patient condition, disruptive behavior, equipment malfunctions, etc.). Serve as off-shift patient care representative, listen to patient or patient family members' issues, documents, and complaints, and investigate if required. Conduct rounds of all patient care areas and defines expectations for accurate reporting with emphasis on high-acuity patients. Collaborate throughout off-shift with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical services to coordinate clinical patient care or environmental needs.Education Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.Licensure Required: Current Massachusetts RN license.Certifications Required: Current AHA BLS & ACLS Certification.Skills Required: Responsible for notifying Administrator-On-Call of serious issues, incidents, and internal and external disasters. Must be able to read Tele Strips, perform Cardiac Drips, titrate meds. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
