Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Pediatrics for a local contract nursing job in Hartford, Connecticut. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently hiring an experienced Pediatric RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Hartford, CT. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 5x8: 7:30am-4pm. /n - Conduct age?appropriate assessments, ask diagnostic questions, and document symptoms and medical history for physician review. /n - Provide initial and ongoing care based on a child’s developmental needs and clinical condition. /n - Identify changes in pediatric patients’ symptoms and intervene promptly in emergency situations. /n - Participate in pediatric pain management using evidence?based, age?appropriate strategies. /n - Administer medications, draw blood, and give childhood vaccinations in accordance with pediatric guidelines. /n - Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure. /n - Support parents and caregivers by addressing concerns, reducing anxiety, and helping families navigate illness or injury. /n - Stay current on pediatric best practices, treatment protocols, medications, and equipment. /n - Maintain accurate, up?to?date patient records, charts, and documentation. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - EPIC experience required. /n /n - BLS. /n /n - PALS. /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
