Job Description:
Catholic Medical Center, a leader in comprehensive healthcare,
invites dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) specializing
in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) services to join our PRN
pool. This position plays a critical role in supporting our
expanding surgical department by providing high-quality care in a
dynamic operating room setting focused on cardiovascular
procedures. You will collaborate with top-tier cardiac surgeons and
a dedicated healthcare team in a state-of-the-art facility driven
by community health education and a holistic approach to patient
wellness. Manage and provide patient care in cardiovascular
operations. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients before,
during, and after surgical procedures. Coordinate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and other team members to deliver optimal
outcomes. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and provide
updates. Prepare operating rooms: ensuring all necessary supplies
and surgical tools are available and sterile. Participate in
post-operative evaluations and patient handoffs to recovery units.
Expertise in cardiovascular surgery practices. Ability to operate
standard and advanced medical equipment in the CVOR. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to respond quickly
and efficiently under pressure. Excellent organizational and
multitasking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license. BLS/ACLS Certification required from a reputable provider.
CNOR certification is highly preferred.
