ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Windsor, Vermont. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Rehab Job Details: • Work 8-hour shifts in medical-surgical rehabilitation unit • Every other weekend and holidays required as needed • On-call responsibilities to be determined • May serve as backup Charge Nurse • Nurse to patient ratio of 1 to 4/5 with average daily census of 22 patients • May float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg units as needed within scope of practice • Must be willing to float to other units as required • 8 hours of non-billable orientation required • Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner • Coordinate total nursing care for patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury • Participate in patient and family teaching • Provide leadership working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel • Focus on restoring patient function and independence through rehabilitation therapies • 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience required • Charge RN experience required • Previous travel experience (minimum 3 months) required • BSN Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred • Must have own vehicle as this is a small community without public transport • Maximum 5 days requested time off will be accepted and must be noted at upload • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • Vermont RN license or Compact license required Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and rehabilitation services to the community, specializing in rehabilitation medical-surgical care that combines traditional medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation services.
