Central Vermont Medical Center, a proud member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality pharmaceutical care aligned with our commitment to community wellness and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing proper dispensation, comprehensive drug information, and personalized service to our patients. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. Provide drug information and counseling to patients on medication usage and interactions. Monitor patient medication therapies and advise on appropriate usage and adjustments. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans. Participate in the development and implementation of hospital pharmacy policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions, medication interventions, and patient communications. In-depth knowledge of pharmacology and medication management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Proficient in pharmaceutical software and record-keeping Current Pharmacist licensure in the state of Vermont or eligibility for licensure.
