Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated Senior Physical Therapist to join our team. This role includes providing advanced physical therapy care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where you will design and administer treatments aimed at restoring strength and mobility in our patients. This position involves collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other therapists to plan and implement treatment strategies that are patient-centric and driven by evidence-based practices. Evaluate patients' condition and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans. Implement treatment plans using exercises, manual therapy techniques, equipment, and physical agents. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior therapists and staff. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify interventions and plans according to patient response and ensure documentation is completed. Engage in patient and family education regarding treatments and home exercises. Advanced knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices. Ability to handle complex cases in physical therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in using physical therapy software and equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license to practice physical therapy. Board certification in physical therapy (ABPTS) is preferred.
