Job Description:
Position Summary/Department Summary: The BCH Outpatient
Psychiatry Service offers comprehensive evaluations for a wide
range of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and social
health of children and adolescents. New patients receive a
diagnostic evaluation and specific treatment recommendations
tailored to the child and family. We are currently seeking a
40-hour experienced social work to join our team. Key
Responsibilities: Providing clinical social work services to assist
patients and families cope with complex personal, family, medical
and environmental problems. Experience with performing psychosocial
and risk assessments, conducting evidence based therapy
interventions, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing
interventions and treatment plans. Providing clinical supervision
to student interns. Minimum Qualifications Education: Master's
degree in Social Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years plus of Social
Work experience required Experience with children/adolescents and
medical environment is highly desirable. Previous social work
supervisory experience preferred One year experience with EB and/or
IHT treatment in a clinic setting preferred Flexibility and ability
to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment. Spanish language skills
strongly preferred Licensure/Certification: LICSW in the state of
MA This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus! The posted
pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith
expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer
provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications,
and a variety of other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of
