Job Description:
Position Summary/ Department Summary: Nurse Practitioner Pain
Treatment Service Key Responsibilities: Working collaboratively
with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children,
adolescents and adults with procedural pain AND chronic pain
conditions. Accountability for care of patients including phone
triage for patients going home with nerve catheters after surgery.
Accountability for care of patients with chronic before and after
injections for chronic pain. Working 10-hour days Monday through
Fridays. Availability to hire for 25 or 30 hours per week. Minimum
Qualifications Education: A master’s degree in nursing Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a
pediatric intensive care background Excellent critical thinking
skills Meticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written
communication skills, and superb collaborative skills Licensure/
Certifications: A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse
Practitioner BLS and PALS certification Sign-on bonus of
$3,125.00-3,750.00 for part-time (25-30 hours) APP hires (who have
