Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Previous pediatric psych experience, Phlebotomy experience License: NH or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous pediatric psych experience - Phlebotomy experience - must be willing to perform blood draws on pediatric/adolescent population - NH or Compact RN License - BLS Description: Psychiatric Registered Nurse needed for immediate start. This position requires working with a pediatric patient population. The nurse will perform general or specialized nursing duties under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include the care and treatment of residents utilizing the nursing process. The nurse will administer medication and medical treatment. Comprehensive treatment planning with a multi-disciplinary treatment team is expected. The nurse must uphold the vision and mission of the agency through daily practice. Utilizing the Practice Model theories, beliefs, and principles is required in all aspects of patient care.
