The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Wound Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/07/2025 Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Wound Care Specialist (Day Shift) Shift: Days, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM start) Position Summary Join the Center for Clinical & Professional Development as a Wound Care RN Specialist delivering expert clinical support and coordination for patients requiring specialized wound care. Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams across consults, diagnostics, and discharge planning. You'll also act as a liaison for hospital safety and quality initiatives focused on wound and skin integrity. Key Responsibilities Coordinate patient care from consultation through discharge Gather medical history and perform physical assessments Order and manage labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing Educate patients and families on wound management and care plans Lead efforts related to NDNQI pressure injury surveillance and skin-related safety events Serve as clinical resource for quality and process improvement Maintain mandatory competencies and engage in ongoing education Required Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN license at time of submission Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing certification (WOCN) 1–3 years of relevant wound care experience preferred Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC preferred) and Microsoft Office Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred Additional Details Shift Type: Deferred Schedule (Day Shift, No weekends) On-Call: None COVID Vaccine & Booster: Required at submission (no declinations accepted) Flu Vaccine: Required Local Candidates: Not accepted (75-mile radius rule) Rehire Policy: Cannot have worked at any Beth Israel facility in last 6 months About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
