Job Description:

The Registered Nurse 1 role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across all ages to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities include conducting age-specific assessments, collaborating with the healthcare team and families to develop and update interdisciplinary care plans, and accurately documenting treatments and medications using electronic medical records.
Identifying and addressing patient and caregiver educational needs, advocating for patient rights, and providing psychological, social, and cultural support are essential duties.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility, and certifications such as CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
Proficiency in computer systems (EPIC), completion of orientation and competency assessments, and the ability to meet essential job functions are necessary.
