Job Description:
The Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting,
providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals
and contingencies. Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects
of patient situations and delegates appropriately to care
providers. Provides nursing care based on the nursing process,
including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and
evaluation. Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural,
and social needs, providing education to patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring
for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient information
accurately. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, BLS
certification, RN license, and nephrology or hemodialysis
certifications (preferred or required within specified timeframes).
This full-time role is based at a leading acute care facility with
specialized services and teaching affiliations.
