Our client, a nonprofit organization in the healthcare education space, is looking for a Content Writer to join their team Full Time - starting as soon as possible!

This is a direct hire opportunity and will require 1 day per week onsite in Brookline, MA.

As the Content Writer you will be joining a team of 4 individuals and serve as a invaluable position geared toward educating patients.

Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying gaps in patient education
• Developing all written content for digital and print while ensuring it is consistent with medical evidence
• Reviewing and updating consumer-facing content on a weekly/ongoing basis ensure quality, accuracy, readability, and cultural appropriateness of content and design
• Participating in patient forum to aid in laying the foundation of content categories/topics
• Collaborating with clinicians on content development and special projects (i.e. interviewing experts to provide clarity on above gaps)
• Staying in the know on medical journals and/or newly published articles as part of research in order to develop additional content
• Assisting with light design/formatting as needed
  
  The IDEAL Content Writer will have:
  
  • 2+ years of experience, healthcare background is highly preferred but not required
  • Impressive writing portfolio showcasing ability to produce short and long form copy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively and compassionately communicate with patients, industry experts, and internal team members
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar
