Job Description:
John Hancock Retirement is currently redefining our US
Retirement business to help our customers save for retirement. This
team focuses on the delivery of solutions that create, and support
engaging and streamlined experiences for our customers leveraging
digital platforms and/or solutions.The Product Manager will drive
our US Retirement platforms in a SAFe agile delivery model, acting
as the voice of the business and customer. This role aligns and
prioritizes business goals with actionable results, contributing to
the US Retirement strategy, vision, and OKRs.Position
Responsibilities:
- Vision and Roadmap: Contribute to the vision and roadmap by
understanding the competitive landscape and market. Identify
desired outcomes and communicate product vision in alignment with
business strategy.
- Delivery: Serve as the owner of feature outcomes, ensuring
alignment with business strategy and customer needs. Facilitate the
successful implementation of solutions by removing roadblocks.
- Customer CX Centricity: Advocate for the customer, ensuring
their needs are central to product development and delivery.
- Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with Epic Owners and
stakeholders to define and prioritize product features. Ensure the
product backlog aligns with strategic goals and manage risks and
dependencies.
- Stakeholder Management: Balance stakeholder perspectives,
elaborate stories, and foster built-in quality. Obtain and share
feedback from customers and stakeholders to evolve solution
design.
- Reporting: Maintain an understanding of business, customer, and
end-user needs. Ensure team and program risks and roadblocks are
managed, reported, and escalated as necessary.
- Product Team Participation: Actively participate in product
team activities to drive alignment and collaboration.Required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a business role and
project management.
- Previous or active role as a SAFe Product Manager strongly
preferred.
- Business knowledge of the US Retirement business.
- Prior FIS/Omni recordkeeping experience preferred, but not
required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to take
ownership of deliverables and drive initiatives.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed
execution.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
- Exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across
functions and levels.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and
agile processes.
- Understanding of system design, analysis, and user testing.When

is expected to be between$87,990.00 USD - $163,410.00 USDIf you are

will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and
relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills,
qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also
