The successful candidate will oversee HVAC maintenance and repair operations across R&D Class A office and retail spaces in Westford and Burlington, MA. The company is committed to maintaining the highest property management standards, ensuring assets operate at peak performance while providing exceptional tenant satisfaction. *APPLY NOW FOR CONSIDERATION WITHIN 48 HOURS* Description The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for: Portfolio Oversight: Manage HVAC maintenance and repairs for 2 million square feet of commercial real estate across Northern MA. System Maintenance: Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance for all types of HVAC units and equipment, including chiller plants, heat pumps, and cooling towers. Operational Excellence: Ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency by troubleshooting distribution systems for velocity, volume, temperature, and pressure. Compliance Management: Oversee HVAC code-required compliance testing and maintain comprehensive records for inspection and safety standards. Vendor Coordination: Manage third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. On-Call Support: Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every six weeks. Construction Coordination: Collaborate with the Construction Management division on new projects and renovations, including system commissioning and as-built organization. Team Development: Assist in training other technicians and staff in preventative maintenance best practices. Profile The successful HVAC Mechanic will have: Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of HVAC maintenance experience (stable employment history strongly preferred). Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, energy management systems, and mechanical equipment. Licenses & Certifications: MA Refrigeration License (highly preferred) OSHA 10 or 30 (Preferred) Honeywell Control System experience (Preferred) Soft Skills: Strong team orientation, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds and safely use ladders. Location: Must be commutable to Westford/Burlington, MA.
