Job Description:
Robotics Controls Engineer The responsibilities: Be proficient
in general mathematical modeling and analysis. You will be applying
system dynamics and control systems theory effectively. Conducting
thermal modeling and analysis. Hands-on experience with control
systems and tuning. Utilizing MATLAB for data analysis and control
simulation. Programming in C and C++ for Linux and embedded
systems. Engaging in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and
troubleshooting. M.S. in Computer Science, Mechanical, Aerospace,
or Electrical Engineering. Proficiency in MATLAB/Python or other
programming languages for data analysis. Comprehensive
understanding of Classical Control Theory, including PID
controllers, tuning, stability, and filters. Experience with
multi-degree-of-freedom robotic systems beyond standard coursework.
Basic familiarity with C or C++. Strong mathematical background in
Calculus and Linear Algebra. Desired Skills: Hands-on experience
with Lab Equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, DAQ systems, and other
electrical test systems. Extensive experience in dynamic modeling
of multi-link systems. Familiarity with control methodologies of
Brushless DC motors, such as Field Oriented Control. Ability to
interpret and analyze electrical schematics, CAD models, and
mechanical drawings. Coursework or Job Experience in Modern Control
Theory. Proficiency in rapid prototyping via 3D printers. Advanced
knowledge in Modern Control Theory, Compliance Control, and Signal
Processing. Also desirable:: Theoretical background and experience
in electrical and electronic system design. Experience in digital
and analog circuit design, embedded systems, microcontroller
interfacing, power electronics design, and motion control.
Familiarity with optical design and opto-electronic components like
laser diodes and photodiodes. Proficiency in design tools like
OrCAD, PADS, or similar. Lab skills, including soldering and PCB
rework. Education Requirement: M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer,
Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautic, or similar engineering field.
