Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A part-time opportunity is available for a Teacher
specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education within a K-12
school setting in the Hollis, NH area. This contract position spans
a full semester, beginning as soon as possible and concluding on
June 17, 2026. The role requires onsite presence at locations
between Brookline and Hollis schools, supporting a K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized instruction and support
to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across grades K-12. -
Develop and implement tailored educational plans in accordance with
individual student needs and state guidelines. - Collaborate with
school staff and families to ensure comprehensive support services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student
progress and service delivery. Qualifications and Experience: -
Active New Hampshire licensure and certification as a Teacher of
the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. - Proven school-based teaching experience
in a K-12 environment. - Completion of district fingerprinting and
background checks. - Willingness to work onsite between the
Brookline and Hollis school sites. - Ability to engage effectively
in virtual interviews via Zoom. Schedule and Commitment: -
Part-time position requiring approximately 10-12 hours per month. -
Must be available to start immediately and commit through the full
semester contract end date. This opportunity provides a meaningful
way to contribute specialized education services to students with
hearing impairments within a supportive school community.
