Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services headquartered in Boston, MA, is seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager for Alternative Investments to join our Risk Management & Compliance department. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth and management of our diverse alternative investments portfolio, which includes but is not limited to hedge funds, real estate, and private equity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and providing expert risk assessments to safeguard our assets and financial stability. Develop comprehensive risk management policies and procedures for alternative investments. Perform risk assessments and analysis on current and potential investments. Collaborate with investment teams to integrate risk management with portfolio strategies. Monitor and report on compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Engage with stakeholders to communicate risk exposures and management strategies. Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to forecast potential risks. Advise on risk mitigation techniques and implement risk limit frameworks. Expert knowledge of alternative investments and associated risks. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficiency in risk management software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle complex data and create meaningful reports.
